Central heating boiler broken down Originally given a date for the next day Thursday for an inspection but I was pleased to receive a call that they could fit me in Wednesday evening. The engineer Connor soon found the problem a seized fan and made a temporary repair to get the system working again. He said would try to source a replacement fan for a more permanent repair. I was very pleased with the service of the company Plumb London and would recommend them to others

Looking for a suspected water leak under the floorboards. Lagged pipes and replaced tap I was advised by a company that there was a water leak under the floorboards and this was causing damage to the joists. I then contacted Plumb London, plumber attended the property within a couple of hours and advised pipes to the immersion heater needed lagging as was causing major condensation in the property, hence the floorboards being saturated. A hot water tap was also replaced. Work was carried out within 48 hours. Happy with the outcome and speedy service. Would recommend

Problem solved We needed a new gas boiler installed with flue and hatches to bring it up to modern gas appliance standards. Complicating the install was the fact that our flat was high up in a tower block with no possibility of external scaffolding or access. After speaking with multiple companies, getting a few quotes and opinions, we were despairing at how hard it seemed to find a reputable company that would still give a reasonable quote. Plumb london sent one of their top engineers out free of charge, who had experience working within the same building on prior jobs. He gave us a detailed guide to the process, options for gas and electric installs, and a quote range that was very reasonable. We were given confidence that we weren't being ripped off, and the install process went very smoothly - work began at 9.30 and was finished by 2. And to top it all off the final cost came in below the mid-range of the quote they supplied us. Honestly - fantastic service, great team and a great relief to just know that you're having a job done by proper professionals. 5 stars.

Replacing the bayonet fitting and hose connecting the mains gas supply to the cooker. Excellent all round service. Good advice to call national grid first to make the house safe. Engineer then came within an hour of my call. He had all the parts ready and worked quickly and efficiently.

Amazing service! We had been 20 days without a working boiler and gone through two companies who were uncommunicative, unhelpful, messy and failed to turn up when promised. Finally found plumb London who diagnosed, quoted, sourced and installed a new boiler for us in less than 24 hours. The installers were polite and excellent and didn’t complain even when they were still finishing the installation at 10pm. Also, they put everything back the way they had found it. Prompt and efficient I was dreading having to get a plumber for the leak on my piping, as I've had bad (and expensive) experiences with plumbers before. Leaking waste pipe on bathroom sink. Original booking was for 20.01.23 Called in the morning and was informed someone would be here before 12. A gas engineer arrived and said they were unable to fix the leak as they were not a plumber. Called again to find out when a plumber would arrive and was told they I’d be texted a time later in the day. No plumber arrived and when I called at 5 I was told none were now available. Rebooked for Monday at 5 and the plumber who arrived was great. Fixed the leak quickly and was friendly and professional. A discount was given as an apology for the mix up on Friday. Overall, a good service.

Boiler repair Attended within 24 hours to look at my boiler and diagnose the problem. Really professional and explained the issue (expansion vessel) in detail and easy to understand. Received a detailed quote within 24 hours. Attended 2.5 weeks later and fixed the repair - again really happy with the service, professionalism, and approachability. Every one was easy to work with - always answered the phone almost immediately and very up front with communication and any delays. My appointment was moved around several times, but again, very up front and honest about it and ultimately made it work!

Fantastic experience We had a great experience with Plumb London. We called with a leak that needed urgent attention and when we called Louise was very helpful, professional and friendly. She was able to get an engineer out within 3 hours of our call. William, our engineer, was equally professional and very knowledgeable, fixing the problem quickly all while giving clear details of how he fixed it. He was also able to source parts from elsewhere in the city on relatively short notice. Overall a great experience and I’d certainly use this company again in the future.

Overall professional, and good communication I removed one star only because I booked quite an urgent same-day service first thing in the morning, and only at the end of the work day was told that unfortunately the appointment can't be met. However, the plumber did come first thing the next day, and was very pleasant and professional. Likewise the communication with the office was always clear, informative, and friendly, and I got a text confirming the details after every phone conversation. The eventual fix was done quickly and well.

A good job Good to see Besi again - he got all our radiators working and showed us what to do if one fails again. He also recommended that we keep the existing radiator valves, since new ones are all made of plastic and don't last nearly as long. So - good service, good advice and no 'hard sell'! Thank you!. A Very Pleased Customer I am extremely pleased with the services of Plumb London. My boiler stopped working on Sunday and I had no heating or hot water for two days, as Monday was Boxing day. I called a gas engineer from a different company first, but after spending an hour they were unable to identify the problem. I called Plumb London for a second opinion. Luke, who took my call, was very polite and reassuring about the quality of the work of the company, which put me at ease. Excellent service Had an issue with our hot water not working due to a broken valve. Two visits were made to my property to fix the issue. Both times the engineers were on time and provided an excellent service and explained what they were doing. I was also contacted regularly with an update on roughly when to expect the engineers to arrive at the property which was greatly appreciated. The problem was fixed. They came looked at what was needed - gave us a price. said it was hard getting parts. gave us two dates but said the first was unlikely due to parts shortage. came and fitted it a week later. Needing a plumber to replace my leaking boiler, and having no real experience of plumbers, I chose Plumb London because of the good reviews it had received on Yell. I phoned them on Wednesday morning and they arrived within a couple of hours to provide a quote for a replacement tank. Their supplier was able to provide the part on the following Wednesday and they installed it the next day, without any problems, arriving at about 10:30 and completing the work by 17:00. Throughout I found both Ivo, their engineer, and the back office staff courteous and helpful. Ivo was punctual and I was not kept waiting. I was kept updated throughout on the status of the new part with their suppler, so that I could be sure that everything would be ready for the installation, and that I would not have to take a day off work for nothing.

this was the fourth company I rang before I could speak to a human being and make arrangements; a great bonus, as far as I'm concerned. The plumber could not come on the day arranged, but I was contacted and apology given for the inconvenience. The plumber was prompt, polite and did the job efficiently, and was very helpful in advising me on possible future jobs. Although it was expensive, as most plumbers would be, they charged for half an hour, which is good if you only have a small job. It seems to be a very professional company.

Check for possible boiler fault Plumb London were responsive and came out next day when I reported a possible fault with my boiler. The plumber/heating engineer was very helpful and good at communicating what he was doing and his though process. Ultimately, the fault was identified as an electrical fault though so no work had to be carried out apart from the boiler inspection. This was all done quickly so it was good value for money

We recently used Plumb London for the first time after having had a disappointing experience in the past with other local plumbers - this was a real difference! It was very easy to arrange the appointment and on the day we were kept advised of the timescales - he was running late due to traffic - but I was called twice: once by the office and once by the plumber on route to let me know. When he did arrive he explained in detail what the problems were (he was fixing two different leaks in the kitchen and the bathroom); what he needed to do to fix it; what parts he was going to get, from where and how long he was going to be. When one of the leaks turned out to be a bigger job that expected he gave me options and went above and beyond to resolve the problems. Afterwards he cleaned up and apologised for taking so long but he clearly was meticulous and wanted to get it right which I really appreciated. He was the model of a professional tradesman and I will now only be using them!

Engineer Pavel was very experienced and confident in his work. He went an extra mile and carried out safety checks long after the work was finished. I phoned Plumb London because water was leaking from the WC onto the bathroom floor. Chris arrived at the time expected and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He then went to get the parts and came back within half an hour and did the repair. He cleaned the area thoroughly and was very efficient. Answered the phone straight away, took all relevant details, got someone out to me within a few hours and even though they gave a 4 hour time slot they were accommodating in terms of allowing me to say I would not be there at 12, but back by 12:30pm. Engineer was good, identified the issue straight away and only needed 30 mins work to get it done. Efficient and didn't mess around, which is good when you're paying per 30 mins. A good experience for a new boiler installation I had a new boiler installed yesterday and I'm very happy with how it went. Engineers Connor & Brandon were personable and knowledgeable, punctual, and efficient and everything was left clean and tidy at the end of the day. Plumb London is probably not the cheapest but my experience was definitely good value for money. No hassle or unexpected costs for little deviations from what was expected (an underlying fear I have when having this sort of installation/work done).

Replacement Shows and Tray Seal Had a leak coming from the shower, Matt came round and quickly diagnosed the problem and explained what needed to be done (replacement shower and shower tray seal ) Stated the job would take between 2 and 2.5hrs. However unlike other firms, he couldn't estimate that duration and had to go for 3hrs, which felt unjustified given the time estimation and the relative predictability of the job. Matt ordered a new shower, which I didn't see but I did confirm with operations over the phone it was the same design as my current shower. When the shower was fixed this wasn't the case, with the taps been a different shape to the sink. I should have asked to see the shower but it should be standard procedure to show the design before ordering. The fitting of the new shower was done professionally and to a high standard (though communication on when it was going to be done was patchy). Matt was friendly, wore PPE throughout and did an excellent job. The job easily took the time estimated but couldn't be quoted for. I would use the company again and would highly recommend Matt. They should review the agreement process for replacement parts (make sure they show the parts), review the ability to quote half hours and ensure clear communication throughout the job.

Excellent job and customer service. Really responsive on queries and helpful. I felt Matt who came to change my taps and sealant did an excellent job. Polite, friendly and did a really neat job. Also left the bathroom tidy and clean afterwards. Would highly recommend as I’ve had a couple of horror plumbers from elsewhere in the past.

Water pressure issues Plumber kept me informed throughout the whole process of what he was doing and why. Very efficient, resolved issue rather quickly and gave advice on what could be done to avoid the situation occurring again.

Toilet replacement Fast and professional. We had to replace the toilet with a Japanese washlet, which has some unusual connections and takes a bit longer to install. Matt was punctual, polite, very professional and completed the work in just a few hours. Today (24 hours later) I could never tell we had invasive plumbing work done in the house. I rang Plumb London who sent two very nice men out, they check a few bits and pieces and then said they would come back to me later with some idea of what can be done, I am waiting to hear. That was last Thursday, today is Monday, I expect to hear today with a quote. Very efficient company so far.

My boiler broke down during Friday night, I phoned Plumb London on Saturday morning, Adam arrived within 2 hours and made a diagnosis and within a short time I was sent quotations for two possible options. I opted to have a new boiler and by Monday afternoon it was installed! At every stage all the personnel involved - Adam, Conor and the two delightful Bristolians on the swtichboard - were at all times polite, helpful, clear in explanations, efficient and prompt to respond. Removing and refitting pipework in kitchen, installing new stopcock and check valve Conner was brilliant - came over to give a quote, studied the M+E plans and returned a couple of days later within a tight deadline to carry out the works. He completed the removals, refit and installs in about five hours and checked with the kitchen design company to make sure everything was as they needed. We were all super impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Boiler installation Couldnt recommend these guys highly enough. The engineer came out a couple of times, the first time at my request he really did his best to fix my boiler (instead of giving me the hard sell which can happen.) When this finally packed up, the same guy did an amazing job installing a new boiler. Took real care to look after the property and explained everything to me in sinple terms. Great service!

The plumber fixed the toilet leak and improved on its original, bodged installation, adding an isolation valve for safety. He was efficient and polite and got on with the job. The final bill was not exorbitant but plumbing doesn't seem to come cheap.

Competent, friendly and efficient. Will and Russ were friendly and reassuring and just got on with the job quickly and competently. It wasn’t an easy job either, laying new gas pipes behind kitchen units. I would use this company again.

I was told to expect the engineer between 11.00 and 3.00. He came at 4.15. Boiler in good condition, so it only took him 15 minutes to check it. Checked the gas supply as well - something that my previous chap had never done.

Extremely quick service - recommended. Despite the ongoing Covid situation, Plumb London were able to send a plumber to review our boiler within less than an hour, and the relevant parts were replaced within 24 hours. A huge relief after a cold night! Not the cheapest around, but great service - we really welcomed the extra Covid safety precautions in place. Will use again!

A day late but good work. They were supposed to arrive at 9.00 on Tuesday. Shortly after 9.00, I received a phone call to say they would be here in ten minutes. At 10.00 I received another call to say that their van had broken down and that they would come on Wednesday. I was not best pleased, However, when they did arrive, they did the work efficiently and left the place clean.

Good service Had two visits recently. First one delayed a bit due to a difficult job before mine which is always a bit frustrating. Omar gave me clear advice on a job I wanted doing. A quotation was raised within a few days and the job completed efficiently by Omar the day after I had accepted quote. 'Phone communication with the company was good. Third time I have used Plumb London and I hope the good standard continues.

Replacement of a sink tap in the kitchen. Very nice plumber and high-quality work. Only criticism is that the tap is a different colour to the sink so it looks odd which is annoying, and the labour felt very expensive

Good service across three visits Great service, even during a busy period and a cold snap in March we had engineers coming soon after we'd made our bookings to sort out the boiler and then central heating system, which had multiple issues that needed to be resolved in turn (and were). Friendly, professional, good at explaining the problems, and above all quick at getting things sorted.

Radiator disaster fixed - Brilliant work! I had a radiator fall away from the wall, on January 2 of all days, just as I had started work for the day and immediately panicked - rubbish start to the new year. I have no experience with plumbing and was afraid a pipe might have been broken or could break unless it was fixed ASAP. I immediately jumped on checkatrade.com and found Plumb London, with impressive reviews. I called them up and spoke with Jake from their customer service team, who listened to me and understood the problem, then immediately arranged for someone to come out that same day. Just a few hours later the engineer, Ryan, showed up and quickly fixed the problem by disconnecting the radiator and capping off the pipework to ensure no further damage or problems until a new radiator could be installed (or the old one re-fitted). Both Jake and Ryan were very friendly and professional from start to finish, and I really appreciated their quick response and great work in helping me out that day. Please consider Plumb London for any work you might get done, emergency or otherwise.

Gas certification and boiler service Although arriving later than the stated time slot, Plumb's engineer methodically serviced the boiler, showing me what he was doing at each stage, and checking the property's gas appliances and connections for its safety certificate. The work was carried out diligently, and I'd have no concerns recommending Plumb for such work.

Truly no job too small or too complicated! Today the job was replacing crystal top taps with old fashioned 'proper' top taps, I have arthritis in my hands and find the crystal tops hard to operate. Plumber Milenko arrived early, was friendly and quick, explained what he was going to do, located a stop-cock I didn't know I had, and replaced the taps with very little trouble, despite the best efforts of cowboy kitchen fitters. I now have shiny, clean taps that don't drip (saving over a litre of water a day - seriously people, fix your drips!), that I can operate, and I know all the pipework under the sink is sound. Thank you - I shall certainly use your company again and again.

Excellent - 5* service I had a job today booked for a smelly shower drain, I called Plumb London in the morning and had an engineer visit me less than 2 hours later, I spoke to Jack over the telephone when making the booking, he was very helpful and precise, explained pricing, and exactly what I would be getting for my money. Very helpful. Once the engineer came (Steve) he was very friendly and helpful, identified the problem but also discussed the issue with myself and offered solutions to rectify the problem, he went and got the parts and then came back to complete the job, very honest and went above and beyond what I expected, I later had an issue with my payment and upon calling Jack (after the job was complete) he apologised and I immediately rectified the issue. Replacement Boiler Really neat job replacing the old boiler, even though the original kitchen units, left restricted clearance and space to work. The new appliance required a condensing pipe, and the engineer fitted this with the minimum of visual impact on the worksurface and cupboards. Very pleased with the outcome, and Plumb London invited back to re-site a radiator.

Efficiency and professional service Fast and efficient service does come at a price . Make sure you request a detailed quote before any wirk takes place . I was initially charge £40 to switch off the mains water supply which in effect took 3 seconds to do!

Good professional plumber The plumber was competent and my problem seemed to have been resolved. He asked me to check the pipes were tight enough at the joints and a couple of them weren’t, so he tightened them up a bit more. This is the reason I gave 4 stars. Other than that, my leak has been fixed and hopefully it will be ok for along time.

Work performed (replacing taps in bathroom and kitchen) was done quickly and to a high standard. Plumber was very professional and courteous and was able to come at short notice. I would use this service again. The quote was a bit higher than I was expecting for a fairly small job, and since it is generated as a single number by a computer it doesn't give a breakdown between parts and labour. I did raise this during the follow up call and they said they'd try and send something over. Not a big deal but it's nice to know exactly what you're paying for.

Plumbing replace pressure vessel and pvr Conner the pumber turned up on time, found out the fault of losing central heating pressure, needed a new pressure vessel which was full of water and he showed me plus pvr was leaking which he showed me, he finished the works quickly and repressurised the radiators he was extremely polite and professional and so was office staff who kept me informed on what was happening, price was fair and I'll be using them again if I need any help again ????
