Boiler Repair After contacting Plumb London I was given an appointment for the same day. I was given a time slot when to expect the engineer and was advised the time he would arrive. On arrival the engineer was very friendly, polite and professional. He knew straight away what was wrong with the boiler and set to work to fix the fault. I would definitely recommend your company for boiler repairs.

I've had huge problems with our hot water and heating system for the last 3 years and this is the only plumbing company that managed to resolve our issue. Engineer Pavel was very experienced and confident in his work. He went an extra mile and carried out safety checks long after the work was finished. Customer services of Plumb London are also great, as I received calls to let me know when the engineer was on their way. I will continue to use this company as they tick all the boxes when it comes to experience and quality of the work.

I phoned Plumb London because water was leaking from the WC onto the bathroom floor. Chris arrived at the time expected and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He then went to get the parts and came back within half an hour and did the repair. He cleaned the area thoroughly and was very efficient. I will definitely call Plumb London again if I need more plumbing work done.

Answered the phone straight away, took all relevant details, got someone out to me within a few hours and even though they gave a 4 hour time slot they were accommodating in terms of allowing me to say I would not be there at 12, but back by 12:30pm. Engineer was good, identified the issue straight away and only needed 30 mins work to get it done. Efficient and didn't mess around, which is good when you're paying per 30 mins. Would recommend and use again.

A good experience for a new boiler installation I had a new boiler installed yesterday and I'm very happy with how it went. Engineers Connor & Brandon were personable and knowledgeable, punctual, and efficient and everything was left clean and tidy at the end of the day. Plumb London is probably not the cheapest but my experience was definitely good value for money. No hassle or unexpected costs for little deviations from what was expected (an underlying fear I have when having this sort of installation/work done).

Replacement Shows and Tray Seal Had a leak coming from the shower, Matt came round and quickly diagnosed the problem and explained what needed to be done (replacement shower and shower tray seal ) Stated the job would take between 2 and 2.5hrs. However unlike other firms, he couldn't estimate that duration and had to go for 3hrs, which felt unjustified given the time estimation and the relative predictability of the job. Matt ordered a new shower, which I didn't see but I did confirm with operations over the phone it was the same design as my current shower. When the shower was fixed this wasn't the case, with the taps been a different shape to the sink. I should have asked to see the shower but it should be standard procedure to show the design before ordering. The fitting of the new shower was done professionally and to a high standard (though communication on when it was going to be done was patchy). Matt was friendly, wore PPE throughout and did an excellent job. The job easily took the time estimated but couldn't be quoted for. I would use the company again and would highly recommend Matt. They should review the agreement process for replacement parts (make sure they show the parts), review the ability to quote half hours and ensure clear communication throughout the job.

Excellent job and customer service. Really responsive on queries and helpful. I felt Matt who came to change my taps and sealant did an excellent job. Polite, friendly and did a really neat job. Also left the bathroom tidy and clean afterwards. Would highly recommend as I’ve had a couple of horror plumbers from elsewhere in the past.

Water pressure issues Plumber kept me informed throughout the whole process of what he was doing and why. Very efficient, resolved issue rather quickly and gave advice on what could be done to avoid the situation occurring again.

Toilet replacement Fast and professional. We had to replace the toilet with a Japanese washlet, which has some unusual connections and takes a bit longer to install. Matt was punctual, polite, very professional and completed the work in just a few hours. Today (24 hours later) I could never tell we had invasive plumbing work done in the house. Absolutely recommended!

We recently used Plumb London for the first time after having had a disappointing experience in the past with other local plumbers - this was a real difference! It was very easy to arrange the appointment and on the day we were kept advised of the timescales - he was running late due to traffic - but I was called twice: once by the office and once by the plumber on route to let me know. When he did arrive he explained in detail what the problems were (he was fixing two different leaks in the kitchen and the bathroom); what he needed to do to fix it; what parts he was going to get, from where and how long he was going to be. When one of the leaks turned out to be a bigger job that expected he gave me options and went above and beyond to resolve the problems. Afterwards he cleaned up and apologised for taking so long but he clearly was meticulous and wanted to get it right which I really appreciated. He was the model of a professional tradesman and I will now only be using them!

Good service across three visits Great service, even during a busy period and a cold snap in March we had engineers coming soon after we'd made our bookings to sort out the boiler and then central heating system, which had multiple issues that needed to be resolved in turn (and were). Friendly, professional, good at explaining the problems, and above all quick at getting things sorted.

Radiator disaster fixed - Brilliant work! I had a radiator fall away from the wall, on January 2 of all days, just as I had started work for the day and immediately panicked - rubbish start to the new year. I have no experience with plumbing and was afraid a pipe might have been broken or could break unless it was fixed ASAP. I immediately jumped on checkatrade.com and found Plumb London, with impressive reviews. I called them up and spoke with Jake from their customer service team, who listened to me and understood the problem, then immediately arranged for someone to come out that same day. Just a few hours later the engineer, Ryan, showed up and quickly fixed the problem by disconnecting the radiator and capping off the pipework to ensure no further damage or problems until a new radiator could be installed (or the old one re-fitted). Both Jake and Ryan were very friendly and professional from start to finish, and I really appreciated their quick response and great work in helping me out that day. Please consider Plumb London for any work you might get done, emergency or otherwise.

Gas certification and boiler service Although arriving later than the stated time slot, Plumb's engineer methodically serviced the boiler, showing me what he was doing at each stage, and checking the property's gas appliances and connections for its safety certificate. The work was carried out diligently, and I'd have no concerns recommending Plumb for such work.

Top notch service. Polite call taker who gave all the details I needed and took the information the plumber needed. The plumber arrived a few hours later and fixed our boiler within an hour. He was professional, friendly and gave great advice. Highly recommended!

Good service Had two visits recently. First one delayed a bit due to a difficult job before mine which is always a bit frustrating. Omar gave me clear advice on a job I wanted doing. A quotation was raised within a few days and the job completed efficiently by Omar the day after I had accepted quote. 'Phone communication with the company was good. Third time I have used Plumb London and I hope the good standard continues.

Replacement of a sink tap in the kitchen. Very nice plumber and high-quality work. Only criticism is that the tap is a different colour to the sink so it looks odd which is annoying, and the labour felt very expensive

Truly no job too small or too complicated! Today the job was replacing crystal top taps with old fashioned 'proper' top taps, I have arthritis in my hands and find the crystal tops hard to operate. Plumber Milenko arrived early, was friendly and quick, explained what he was going to do, located a stop-cock I didn't know I had, and replaced the taps with very little trouble, despite the best efforts of cowboy kitchen fitters. I now have shiny, clean taps that don't drip (saving over a litre of water a day - seriously people, fix your drips!), that I can operate, and I know all the pipework under the sink is sound. Thank you - I shall certainly use your company again and again.

Excellent - 5* service I had a job today booked for a smelly shower drain, I called Plumb London in the morning and had an engineer visit me less than 2 hours later, I spoke to Jack over the telephone when making the booking, he was very helpful and precise, explained pricing, and exactly what I would be getting for my money. Very helpful. Once the engineer came (Steve) he was very friendly and helpful, identified the problem but also discussed the issue with myself and offered solutions to rectify the problem, he went and got the parts and then came back to complete the job, very honest and went above and beyond what I expected, I later had an issue with my payment and upon calling Jack (after the job was complete) he apologised and I immediately rectified the issue. Replacement Boiler Really neat job replacing the old boiler, even though the original kitchen units, left restricted clearance and space to work. The new appliance required a condensing pipe, and the engineer fitted this with the minimum of visual impact on the worksurface and cupboards. Very pleased with the outcome, and Plumb London invited back to re-site a radiator.

Efficiency and professional service Fast and efficient service does come at a price . Make sure you request a detailed quote before any wirk takes place . I was initially charge £40 to switch off the mains water supply which in effect took 3 seconds to do!

Good professional plumber The plumber was competent and my problem seemed to have been resolved. He asked me to check the pipes were tight enough at the joints and a couple of them weren’t, so he tightened them up a bit more. This is the reason I gave 4 stars. Other than that, my leak has been fixed and hopefully it will be ok for along time.

Central heating boiler broken down Originally given a date for the next day Thursday for an inspection but I was pleased to receive a call that they could fit me in Wednesday evening. The engineer Connor soon found the problem a seized fan and made a temporary repair to get the system working again. He said would try to source a replacement fan for a more permanent repair. I was very pleased with the service of the company Plumb London and would recommend them to others

Looking for a suspected water leak under the floorboards. Lagged pipes and replaced tap I was advised by a company that there was a water leak under the floorboards and this was causing damage to the joists. I then contacted Plumb London, plumber attended the property within a couple of hours and advised pipes to the immersion heater needed lagging as was causing major condensation in the property, hence the floorboards being saturated. A hot water tap was also replaced. Work was carried out within 48 hours. Happy with the outcome and speedy service. Would recommend

The plumber was unable to properly… The plumber was unable to properly clear the shower drain blockage, he was not really sure why he could not clear it. It could be lime scale buildup in shower drain or the main drain for the building. So generally £108 was not well spent.

Radiator replacement and Boiler replacement Plumb London did 2 separate jobs for me. They estimated, quoted and replaced 6 radiators. Then during a routine boiler service their engineer found a leak with the flue (and potential carbon monoxide leak). They recommended replacing the boiler along with the flue (as it was already 8 years old) and were able to carry out all the work the same week. Both times, the engineers were efficient, competent and polite. And the customer service team was great. Their day rates are higher than much of their competition, but their service is quick and excellent and I would absolutely hire them again.

Excellent service Had an issue with our hot water not working due to a broken valve. Two visits were made to my property to fix the issue. Both times the engineers were on time and provided an excellent service and explained what they were doing. I was also contacted regularly with an update on roughly when to expect the engineers to arrive at the property which was greatly appreciated. The problem was fixed. They came looked at what was needed - gave us a price. said it was hard getting parts. gave us two dates but said the first was unlikely due to parts shortage. came and fitted it a week later. The pump is a good one - mid range - fair price. very happy with the service. The fitter was a delight, would highly recommend and we would use again.

Excellent service Excellent service from initial contact to completion of work. Someone came out the day I called and provided with quotes for jobs replacing shower enclosure,tray,bar and riser kit. Also kitchen sink waste. Plumb London brought replacement with them invaluable as shower being replaced not standard size and I did not feel confident purchasing them and getting someone to fit it. Also as in a flat with limited space .Only had to wait a week for work to be completed. Ryan the engineer was professional and polite. Cleaning up afterwards and going through how to operate the shower before they feel, which the company who fitted the previous shower did not.

Problem solved We needed a new gas boiler installed with flue and hatches to bring it up to modern gas appliance standards. Complicating the install was the fact that our flat was high up in a tower block with no possibility of external scaffolding or access. After speaking with multiple companies, getting a few quotes and opinions, we were despairing at how hard it seemed to find a reputable company that would still give a reasonable quote. Plumb london sent one of their top engineers out free of charge, who had experience working within the same building on prior jobs. He gave us a detailed guide to the process, options for gas and electric installs, and a quote range that was very reasonable. We were given confidence that we weren't being ripped off, and the install process went very smoothly - work began at 9.30 and was finished by 2. And to top it all off the final cost came in below the mid-range of the quote they supplied us. Honestly - fantastic service, great team and a great relief to just know that you're having a job done by proper professionals. 5 stars.

Radiators heating I was informed before the work started what the power flush would entail, how long the job would take and for us to leave sufficient access around each radiator and the boiler for them to work. After the work was completed a detailed explanation of the work done. In between the start and finish of the job they just got on with their work. Because the weather was so hot on that day the heating was not turned on to test the radiators but we were reassured that if any problems accurr when we switched it on they would return and deal with it. Overall my wife and I are satisfied with the work

Replacing the bayonet fitting and hose connecting the mains gas supply to the cooker. Excellent all round service. Good advice to call national grid first to make the house safe. Engineer then came within an hour of my call. He had all the parts ready and worked quickly and efficiently.

Work performed (replacing taps in bathroom and kitchen) was done quickly and to a high standard. Plumber was very professional and courteous and was able to come at short notice. The quote was a bit higher than I was expecting for a fairly small job, and since it is generated as a single number by a computer it doesn't give a breakdown between parts and labour. I did raise this during the follow up call and they said they'd try and send something over. Not a big deal but it's nice to know exactly what you're paying for.

Very pleased. Problem: leaks behind toilet cistern and constant trouble with water flow. Found 'Plumb London' on internet. They were good on the phone, then prompt to get to us. Agreed a set price rather than the hourly rate - which I felt was more beneficial to me.

Needing a plumber to replace my leaking boiler, and having no real experience of plumbers, I chose Plumb London because of the good reviews it had received on Yell. I phoned them on Wednesday morning and they arrived within a couple of hours to provide a quote for a replacement tank. Their supplier was able to provide the part on the following Wednesday and they installed it the next day, without any problems, arriving at about 10:30 and completing the work by 17:00. Throughout I found both Ivo, their engineer, and the back office staff courteous and helpful. Ivo was punctual and I was not kept waiting. I was kept updated throughout on the status of the new part with their suppler, so that I could be sure that everything would be ready for the installation, and that I would not have to take a day off work for nothing.

Punctual. More expensive than solo traders but I think worth it. Will work with them on other projects too. The service was excellent. The engineer came within an hour. He was knowledgeable and explained everything. He diagnosed the problem quickly and went to collect a spare part, fitted it and gave general advice. My boiler is now fixed and guaranteed for a year. Exceedingly happy!

this was the fourth company I rang before I could speak to a human being and make arrangements; a great bonus, as far as I'm concerned. The plumber could not come on the day arranged, but I was contacted and apology given for the inconvenience. The plumber was prompt, polite and did the job efficiently, and was very helpful in advising me on possible future jobs. Although it was expensive, as most plumbers would be, they charged for half an hour, which is good if you only have a small job. It seems to be a very professional company.

The service was prompt and efficient and the plumber was professional and polite. There was a bit of a snag with the first job (one of the new taps was squeaking badly when switched on). But the issue was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Overall very happy with their services and would recommend.

Check for possible boiler fault Plumb London were responsive and came out next day when I reported a possible fault with my boiler. The plumber/heating engineer was very helpful and good at communicating what he was doing and his though process. Ultimately, the fault was identified as an electrical fault though so no work had to be carried out apart from the boiler inspection. This was all done quickly so it was good value for money

I walked into a wet bathroom floor. I was great to be able to call a plumber and have them come in the next morning and fix the problem without any issue. My bathroom was dry and back to normal in less than 2 hours. Highly recommend Plumb London

Pavel had previously come to my house to install some new radiators that I had purchased. He was friendly, easy to get along with and worked hard throughout his stay. He even triple-checked that everything was working in order before he left, which I appreciated. Unfortunately my boiler broke down soon after, and so Pavel was back to check on the fault. When he suggested I should buy a new boiler, my jaw hit the floor. I couldn't believe it. He gave me several options as to what I should do but was honest and suggested that the most cost-effective option in the long run was replace the boiler. I trusted his judgement and so a week later Pavel was back to install the new boiler. I actually wasn't at the house to oversee the work but Pavel did a great job. When I got home not only was there a shiny new boiler in my utility room but there was no sign of mess whatsoever. This was a year ago and the boiler's been working perfectly since so his judgement was spot on. Great job.

Plumb London Company Plumb London missed the date of appointment but prioritised me for the next one, which is good. They also apologised which you don’t usually get nowadays with traders and businesses, and that was good enough for me. I have used them before and will continue to use them because in my view, they are more honest and better than British Gas who are always wanting to cover their a***s*……er their behinds, even when they or their engineers have done wrong!

Sharp Practice A prompt arrival to assess and fix a slow draining bathroom sink. A vacuum cleaner was first deployed which failed to fix the problem. Then an augur - a hand held battery powered unit - which sent a spinning, flexible rod into the pipe to clear the obstruction. Job done. However, on receiving the bill I saw I was charged £45 for “machinery”. I should have thought that when you hire a tradesperson you are also hiring the standard tools of their trade. If I hired a carpenter would I be expected to pay for hire of his hammer also?! Outrageous. I will not be employing Plumb London again.

Supply and replace a shower unit Very efficient service from Plumb London for both the booking via Isabella from my initial enquiry via checkatrade and the actual work carried out by Charlie. On both visits Charlie kept me updated on arrival time, was polite and friendly and did a v good job and tidied up well. Would highly recommend Plumb London and would definitely use again.

They found the source of my leak quickly, were polite, respectful and considerate, and explained exactly what was needed - also explaining what didn’t need doing as I’d feared we’d have to take floorboards up - all in a way that really inspired confidence. Positive: Quality, Responsiveness, Value Had a few plumb jobs I needed doing alongside my regular boiler service. Had a fantastic job completed without a fuss.
